My Story

I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. I began my mental health career as a Mental Health Technician while I was Active Duty in the Air Force. I was able to provide crisis counseling and mental health support to Active Duty service men and women and my passion for mental health has only grown since then. I have worked in a variety of fields, including community mental health, adult corrections, juvenile justice, and the schools.

I am excited to now focus on providing specialized care in a private practice setting. Anxiety and trauma are my passion as there are so many struggling with the symptoms of these issues who may have lost hope that they can experience relief. By reprocessing traumatic experiences and rewiring the way our brain responds to both internal and external triggers, relief is possible. I am excited to bring this hope to others through my private practice work.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Gainesville, FL, and have been a lifelong Gator fan. I spent four years in the Air Force and was proud to serve our service men and women, as well as their families, as a Mental Health Technician. I am active in my church and enjoy ministering to others through mental health support as well as overseas missions work. I am married and have two daughters as well as three bonus children. Our family of 7 stays busy!

Thank you for visiting, I look forward to hearing from you!
